Indeed! I did not know they (Nagumo & Co.) hit Kure, however. (also HI.)


Or at least tried too... and it (the invasion) got called off right as they got
all lack of carriers nervous. They really were gonna inch their way
Eastwardly towards taking Pearl proper-- at least in theory.

Although 3 of their flyers crash-landed on Kure post-Midway strike #1 and fought it out to the (self)-death.
